    A fine ugly view here - very good detail of this critter, and nicely exposed.

    Hi Bill,

    Good looking spider. The legs look perfect right down to the hairs. The body looks just slightly oof to me. Maybe a little more dof would have nailed it. The background is nice and diffuse although personal preference would be to see it all the same color as behind the spider. Also next time you see the spider, ask him to weave a neater web. ;)

    Hey Bill, great details on the spider, a solid BG would be nice but sometimes you have to do the best with whats offered.

    Looks like you got your camera back, Bill; hope it's working properly now! This is quite a pretty spider, actually, and a pretty good photo of him/her. I love macro for the details of "other worlds" that we rarely notice!

    Thanks for the comments everyone. Anita, I got a brand new one as my other just would not work properly. Thanks to Hunt's and Canon for replacing my old one.
