    I haven't done a lot of bird photography lately....but here's one from last spring when I spend a couple of days again with one of my favorite birds.

    Nikon D3
    Nikon AF-S 300/2.8VR + EF1.7
    1/500 @ f/8.0
    ISO320, RAW
    Gitzo tripod (which I broke during this session), M10, Sidekick, Anglefinder

    Very cool. I like the angle, crop and BG but the hairdo puts it over the top for me.

    Haha, this is really funny! Great idea to make this image Jasper. I would only crop a strip from the bottom to eliminate the OOF bright blue, otherwise excellent.

    Btw, thanks for the sharpening suggestions Jasper and your valued comments.

    Love it, and I think that the blue strip bbalances the COMP. And oh what a hairdo!

    Very creative. Love the low angle and hairdo. The colors in the BG are excellent!!
