Great pose and details. The BG looks a bit dark for my taste and there is not much separation between legs and BG.
Good capture, but I'm not sure if the dark background works for me.
I sort of darkened the background to take away the line formed along the line of the bird. Probably went a little far but thats the way it came out. Not sure anyone would have liked the original anyway!

Love the wing position but wish that the bird were not angled slightly away from you.

I like the contrast between the BG. The wing position is very nice but I would remove whatever is in front of the bird.
