    Nicely done Steve! Awesome pose with good eye contact! Sharpness is excellent and underwing detail is great. I would move the bird lower in the frame, and perhaps a little to the right. Thanks for posting!

    Great pose and light. I agree with Doug's crop suggestion and would remove the sharpening halo.

    Great pose and exposure for underwing, tail feather detail. Seems just a tad sharp to me as well. I like your placement of the bird on sky canvas, wouldn't change it.

    Wonderful with the wings stretched out, perfect light on the underside detail, and sharp. Wish only that the bird were not looking away. Is the bird holding some leaves?

    Yes Artie,although I do not know why.The young had already fledged when this was made.
    I guess they are always tidying up.

    beautiful spread not seen often.
    agree about halo esp under neck and about dark wing tip....right wing appears a bit bright comparatively.

    awesome image......great capture IMO
