    Default Black Skimmer

Since I just moved and am living closer to Long Island now, I went on a trip to Nickerson Beach yesterday. It's been nice to meet Roman.

Excellent capture Axel....good job on the exposure here! Perhaps a bit tight, but I'd love to get be able to get something like this. I'm looking forward to see more from this location in the future.

Very nice Axel, great pose, good exposure and a nice catchlight in the eye. Maybe a little bit tight on the left and on top.

Very nice image Axel, I do enjoy the eye contact and the wing up!
I wonder how it would looks with more room on top.

    Hi Axel,
I was nice meeting you (and Beth) yesterday at Nickerson. I sure was fun going after the skimmers. I'm fine with the comp as I tend to prefer them tight! Excellent control on the exposure!

Fantastic. A bit more room in front might work. Wonderful sharpness, pose, and light.

:eek::eek: You guys are killing me these skimmer shots...wish we had something like that in Oz to photograph. Seriously cool image...great exp, sharp as, and that eye contact is killer. Agree that a bit more room in front could add to it too. Wow!!
