    Beautiful bird, great pose, details, soft light, BG and perch. I cropped a bit tighter, removed some BG noise (which would look better when done in TIFF) and increased the saturation a few points. Did you sharpen the bird only or the entire image? Thanks for sharing!

    Excellent image Rod. You've done real well for an overcast day, like the pose, perch, Bg and detail is great.

    Lovely background I have to say I infinately prefer the first image. In my view it is still conforming to the rule of thirds in that you have a third to the left of the bird, the bird and perch take up another third and the space to the right of the bird takes up another third. I think it needs this space where as Axel has reduced the space and I feel his crop is too tight.

    Discuss!!!!
