    Default Carmine capers!

Taken from a boat hide opposite a Southern Carmine Bee-eater nesting colony.
The 5 in line shadows on the wall make for a nice effect.
Luangwa River, Sth Luangwa Nat Park - Zambia.

    Nikon D2Xs, 300 f/2.8 VR, ISO 100, 1/1600s, f/3.3 @ 200.

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers

Great scene captured. I like the patterns and shadows but would try to crop in a way that you don't clip birds.

I agree with Axel, this needs cropping in a different way. I would like to see as much as possible of the wood on the right hand side removed by cropping and then cloning.

I like it as is Marc, though the 5 shadows in line are not very clear, the scene is too cluttered, but if they would not have been... this would have been stunning.

I actually decided to leave the 2 birds on each edge in, I could have easily cropped them out.
I have many images of this same scene, will post some more throughout the weeks.

    Cheers
