    Used the Orton effect here, 2 multiple exposures, one sharp, one out of focus and the blending was "in camera".
    I know some of you woud have preferred this as a vertical, but I felt the glow would have been too constrained and it needed ore room.

    D3, Sigma 150 macro
    Aperture value f/8
    manual focus and hand held.
    This effect is better done from a tripod to have the optimal subject placement consistency.

    Wow, Fabs, that IS a lot like the "Florida Fog"! What a beautiful lily. I agree, you would lose the affect of the glow if it were cropped in.

    I guess I need to get my camera manual out. It's evidently got a few more bells and whistles than my old Nikkormat.

    I like everything about this but the glow on the petal to our left. The colors are wonderful.

    It's gorgeous! I agree that the one petal has a bit too much glow to it but everything else really works. It's fabs, Fabs!

    "BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER" :D I like it the way ity is Miss Fabs...:) The soft colors are very nice and I like the soft creamy background...goos show...:cool:
