Been working on composition of multiple birds. Just purchased Noise Ninja (after seeing what Dan Brown could do with it) and used it on this image. Used PS to blur top part of background (duplicate layer, blurred bottom layer, erased area on top layer. flattened).

    Hi William

Would suggest first of all more room around the birds, seems tight. You did manage good head positions and exposure (might go slightly brighter)

Not crazy about the heavy overlap and the one hidden bird? Would crop into more of a pano for effect, the birds are moving and would enhance the movement. Not sure if you could have waited or made the image before to keep the heads from merging with the dark trees in the bg. Good in camera framing.

I like the feeding action and details. Adding to Al's comments I would lighten the image a bit. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys. Al: I'll try a pano effect and lightening the image. Interesting that a pano crop would enhance the movement. I'll put that in my bag of tricks. Don't see the merge. regards~Bill
