    This is one from October 2007 - out at Ft. DeSoto. I attended one of James Shadle's seminars. Not a lot of bird activity that morning, but this one Heron was the subject of much paparazzi! I tried the watercolor effect on the photo, and printed it on my inkjet on a canvas specialty paper for an interesting result. What do you think?

    Very nice, Amy! Love the painted effect...nice and subtle! I also love the way his toe is sticking out of the water. Great initial capture!

    Hi Amy love the effect !!! Can't think of a better bird for the treatment Soft colors do work best !!!

    btw will be moving the image to the post processing techniques !!!
