    Here is another one from my trip to Brasil.The southern lapwing are very territorial they will attack anything or anybody that enters their comfort zone.

    Love the pose with the display of the thorns on the wings. Nice job with the exposure and sharpness. I'd like to see a little better eye contact, but that's about it. Thanks for posting!

    The is really nice Adams. The image shows off the wing spurs really well. You've got great depth of field considering the f5.6 aperture and the BG is excellent.

    Quite spectacular. I have never seen the spurs so well illustrated before. And perfect EXP control.

    but for a wee bit less head turn, this is a sweet image Adams....awesome bg and just enough blur on foreground
