alberto, oscar and i were having a conversation last week about street photography and i immediately thought of this one!! i had just gotten my D300 and i went to a soccer game to test the different AF settings on it. well, sometimes a photo presents itself and you just cant help but pull the trigger!! i had originally named this one "Do You Know Where Your Daughter Is?!!" i think it's very fitting! whaddayathink?

thanks for looking and comments and critiques are appreciated!!
Hey Mr H - I dont do much street photography - so I don't know much.... I am wondering if you are going to get picked up on cutting the girls head off.
Like the title, Personally think it would have been a stronger shot if she wasn't there.
agreed, but i thought she needed to stay cause the back girl is looking at her. my main focus was obvious. hoping the cut off head wouldnt make much difference. thanks!!
Harold, my friend, might you not find yourself in hot water with the HAP??? Does the HA rule even apply on pictures like this??!! Don't worry - I'll forward your bail money!!!
Regards,
Nicki
Actually, I find this to be an interesting and provocative image.

I opened this thread and found you guys talking about some head got cut-off, and yesterday some crazy guy decapitated his seatmate on a Greyhound Canada bus. Yike !
Perhaps the "daughter" is the one without the head in this photo.
Way to go Daktari,
The picture tells the story and captures the moment. Well done, and very well composed...good job. These are moments in time that are worth recording. I used to do alot of street photography in "The Big Apple" New York City; of the homeless people; bring their sub culture to light; so that the rest of society can appreciate and value what they have. Good job buddy...:D:)
