Meet Bella. We adopted her from the Tampa Humane Society a couple of years ago.
We first noticed Bella's interest in water as soon as we let her out of her carrier when we brought her home. She made a bee-line for the toilet, and started drinking!
A little later, she was in the screened lanai (it's like a pool cage - a screened patio with a screen roof), and we realized it had started to lightly rain. But she stayed out there, oblivious to the fact that she was getting wet.
Now she demands that we turn on faucets for her to drink from. Although she prefers it when we cup our hands under the water and allow her to drink out of our palm (!!!), sometimes she has to improvise, as she does when I'm getting ready for work in the mornings and don't have time to pamper her. She jumps into the bottom of the tub, looks up and the faucet, and waitsl I turn the water on a trickle, and she sits under it, lapping away. I finally decided to try and capture this.
Not the most glamorous shot of our bella Bella, but I'll try to post some "pretty" shots, too, to try and make it up to her.... :)
