    Default Black Skimmer

    Here's one from my recent California trip. The skimmers were much more active as evening approached, and this was one of my last frames before I lost light.



    Canon 1D Mark III, 700mm, f/6.3, 1/2500, ISO 800, no flash, hand held

    Great light, details and eye contact. The BG looks a bit odd. There are some green and red blotches too big for regular color noise.

    Very nice wing position and eye contact. I would like to see more light in the BG.

    Pretty much perfect. Axel's eyes are too sharp for me... I would only wish for the wings in the full upstroke position.
