Hey Gus,
Lady Victoria is very sexy! One recomendation as you have a bit of a hot spot up top........Humor me and do a browser crop.......scroll the image until you just touch the curved area of the petal on the UR corner.........this eliminates the hot spot and IMO strenghtens the comp a bit. Now for that central hot spot closest to the edge.....if i remember correctly.....you are OK with it.........consider yourself the plastic surgeon guy.......just sculpt it up a bit.
I am normally not a soft focus guy but this one is very nice!
WOW! Gus, you truly are a painter of light ... and flowers. I enjoy seeing each new contribution.
Thanks. Your images make me realize how much more I have to learn about lighting. Ahhh ... more equipment to buy!
Dang Gus! You're going to make me go out and buy a set of extention tubes, aren't you??? This is really lovely. Wonderful composition and lighting...I think it might be my favorite of all your macros!
Dear Gus:
Your S. Fla friends (Harold, Alberto, and myself) would like to visit Pop's garden when you return from vacation. He has such a variety of flowers that we have not seen anywhere else we wanted to share in the beauty of capturing these with you. They are truly amazing, couple with your compositions and artistic eye we feel that we can learn a lot from you.
Regards,
Oscar
