    Default Rock Bush Quail

    This was photographed at Dive Ghat near Pune city in Maharashtra State. This is the first time I have seen this species and also photographed it.



    Canon EF 800mm + 1.4xII on Canon 1D Mark III.
    ISO 200, 1/250 @ f8, Aperture Priority, Evaluative Metering.

    Congrats on the lifer, Sudhir.... looks like IQ is still great at 1120 mm!

    Perhaps crop a bit off the top and left?

    Good shot Sudhir!!
    I like the BG and sharpness.
    I would take off some of the bushes from foreground as they are a bit distracting and highlight the face a l'le bit more.
