    Default Osprey gets lunch

My favorite bird. Taking at the Everglades using a D2H and 600/4 with 14x, f8@1/1600 sec, iso 200, exposure comp -2/3 stop. Thanks for looking.

    Hi Rick,

Harsh light but you did well keeping the bird sharp. I would also increase the contrast because looks a little washed out! The fish is a nice plus!

Looks as if the underwings have been lightened too much; did you lighten them? If yes, how?

And yes as Maxis says, it needs more contrast and blacker blacks.

I like the pose, catch and BG. Adding to the other comments, I would give it more room at the right, wish for a better head angle and sharpen the bird a bit more.

Gotta love an Osprey image flying with a fish! I agree with the above mentioned nits.
