    Hello Denis,

This is very nice, the expression tells the story. Love the wings position and you have good details.

I like the pose, details and the open beak adds to it. It is just a bit centered for my taste.

Nice pose and the beak open is a bonus! I also really like how you were able to look into the nest as opposed to shooting up from below to the nest.

    Dear John,
Thank you for your kind comments; much appreciated.
    I presume you have a 1DMkIII too.
Following the 'Canon Fix' on the sub-mirror I considered the performance in AI Servo to be actually worse than that experienced 'pre-fix' !!! Over 500 test shots confirmed this beyond debate. The Canon dealer agreed with my conclusions.
The end result was the dealer replaced the camera. I now use a body having a Serial No. well outside the S/N's listed by Canon in their public announcements.
The difference in performance in AI Servo is immense.
I am still working my way through optimising the Custom Function settings, without resorting to calibrating specific lenses.
So far this approach is satisfactory.
    Kind Regards,
    Denis Glennon AO
