Hi Kristin - Wow - havent seen this fellow before, I like the composition although maybe just a bit tight on the RHS. Love the catchlight as well.

Looks a little dark on my screen, I think although not being familiar with the snake it's hard to tell. I would brighten it just a tad and also add just a touch of sharpening to the eye to make it pop.

    Well done :)

This is what I was thinking.. (quick and dirty changes)

Lance, thank you for your suggestions. I am always a bit nervous about "over-sharpening" images. I dislike images that look over sharpened. Here is a re-post of the same image. What do you think? More...less?

Hi Kristin - looks about right to me - I cant see any sharpening halo's (dont have my glasses on though). There are a number of tutorials in the Educational Rescources forum on the best ways to sharpen.

    Looks good to me.
No noticeable halo or noise, just sharp details.

Looks really good Kristin One thing you can do with the sharpening is go to edit >fade sharpen A pop up will show and check luminosity !! Will make a difference and would do on every single image. Might even do an action so you only press one key !!!

    Hi Kristin,
Beautiful image I like your repost, it doesn't look oversharpened to me.

    Alfred,
Does this work with Elements or just with Photoshop? I have searched and searched...may have missed it though. Anxious to try.
