    Default Running Puffin

On last weeks trip to Machias Seal Island, I observed this one running to its nest. Following it down, my lens hit the lower opening of the pesty blind . Leaving me with a half a foot missing.

Layton too bad about the blind and the foot*. I really like the big sand lance in its mouth.

I might be tempted to use Al's suggestion of a portrait format and clone the rest of the foot in. You have several toes to work with

As others have stated......it's a shame about running out of room before the camera hit the blind. The determination is quite evident in this one. A vertical would be a nice composition. Did you get any of the "march of the Puffin" a few frames before this one?

Layton, does a previous image have a foot and the rock - perhaps some PS work might get it back.

    Vertical would look good here.

I would love to see the verticle. I just love these birds.
