    Shasta daisies with their stark white petals seem to make good B&W candidates for me. Enjoy!

    Nikon D80, Nikon 105 @ f/32, 0.8s, IS 200, late evening just before sunset, mostly clear evening.

    The pics would not have the same effect in color - agree on the B&W treatment. tones look good. i'd boost contrast a tad. you may also want to try a set with some grain added for the "film" look.

    I couldn't wait to get in here and see this up close! It's beautiful Bruce. I agree that a tad more push on the contrast would really liven it up even more and adding grain or texture might be fun to try as well. As is, it's lovely...especially where the two flower's petals overlap. It looks like they are secretly holding hands and you caught them!

    Very nice details, agree with Julie on the contrast. None the less a very soothing image.

    Fully agree on the contras boost B&W images are all about contrast For a fun variation throw a little color in the center !!! Excellent !!!
