    One from the wekend - tried something a little different, maybe it worked ...
    Got down and dirty - layed on the ground (didn't see all the duck poo that I was laying in until it was too late) and played with the gulls - have a couple of different takes Ill share.

    Could crop differently .. maybe

    Cropped a tad and sharpened and lightened a little.

    I love it--the soft light and the beautiful eyes. I really light the angle and the background. Good work!

    Nicely done Lance,
    I like the close up pose of Mr. tough guy...:eek: Nice white control and details, I like the colors of the eyes...congrats:cool:

    Thanks Nicki - a little bit of food and the gulls are more than happy to co-operate, always take my camera with me - son was playing football so I thought half time was a good time to grab some gulls and go. LOL :)

    Excellent Lance Love the low angle ....... btw think of duck poo as ambiance ... will make it seem better !!!! :)

    Simple and powerful image I think it will be even stronger if the bird had gotten its tail out of the way !!! For these expeditions remember to bring bread !!!!

    That's really lovely, Lance. Another composition would be to cut tight on the left side so you take out that left wing, thus moving the bird more to the left third and then showing more on the right side. You did a bang up job on those whites!
