    Here's a female Scarlet Skimmer I found last year at Loxahatchee.

    30D, 300f/4 + 1.4TC, 1/100@ f/16, aperture priority, evaluative metered, , tripod, cloned out some branches in the lower right.

    Nice image, Don. The wing detail is fabulous. You did an excellent job with the cloning. The color looks good. And the background is excellent. At the point where the body darkens moving toward the tail, it looks a bit soft but that may just be me. Very well done.
