    Default Reddish Egret (white morph)

From the Hooptie Deux in early June. This was my only sighting of the white morph as it flew by. Saw it from the corner of my eye and pretty glad I was able to capture this one image before it was turned too far away from me. I don't think James saw it that morning as later on he told me that if I was lucky I might see a white morph Reddish Egret:D Applied a bit of gaussian blur to the trees below.

    Canon 40D + 100-400L @400mm, 1/1250s., f/7.1, ISO 500, -0.3 EC (previously metered off mangroves), handheld.

Really super Daniel. The trees complement the image I think. You have pushed the whites as far as they will go but still retained the detail. I like this. The bill, head and neck of the bird as portrayed are very attractive.

Very pretty Daniel. I only wish that the bird were flying towards you. Like the hint of trees at the bottom of the frame.
