Hi Dave - Killer BG, eye contact looks OK.

Not sure about the HA and the shadow acroos the back of the bird and the perch.
The perch were it enters thr frame looks a bit funny.

Hi Dave Good capture These little guys are always tough

The sun angle got you here big time It caused the shadow on the bird and branch Always check sun angle before setting up Also the bird is looking away from you which also is not a good thing !!!

I like the pose and placement in frame Just the right amount of room around the bird, the bg is very sweet and you came up with a good exposure !!!

Super BG and great colors on the bird! Agree with what others have said, HA etc. There seems to be a halo thing going on along the branch, cloning maybe?

Been there...done that! Darn sun! Why does it never want to cooperate??? Al is right...you got a lot right in this image - just need to position yourself better in the field so you don't get caught with the branch shadows running down your subject's back. Keep trying!!!
