Not as good a photo as no.1, but it does show the violence involved in these jackal - vultures fights. This was definitely the toughest of the jackals, and fought untill he was exhausted. Just look at the size of these vultures' claws and beaks compared to size of the jackal... very brave animals these jackals.

Excellent series Vincent! Regarding your composition...I'd go in a little more tight (especially from top)....this would balance things a little better (as the head of the jackal is rather close to the bottom of the frame)...You know I was concerned with the sharpness of your previous photograph...but if this one is as sharp as the previous one (which I expect from a nitpicker like you....this is a compliment!) you really might want to consider a different sharpening technique for the web.

The image tells a story for sure. The jackal is dificult to find in the fame so a little tighter comp might be in order. Maybe some off the top and right side of the frame...

This picture really tells a story of the struggle. I think, may be a vertical composition would have been better at emphasizing the action happening over and around the jackal.
