Once again, I had an overly saturated neon-yellow daylily that looked fine in the image but it was nothing special. I went in and converted it to a grayscale image, changed it to a tritone, and then added a white vignette around the edges to blend in with the outline of the image.

Now I feel like the lines of the image have taken center stage and that you can really see the beauty of the flower instead of just it's bright color.

Very nice Julie! Your focus is in just the right spots and I love how the image dissapears at the frame edges! Good work! Dan Brown

So soft and lovely, agree with Dan's comments, just the right amount of sharp elements and good diffusion of edges.

I love it too - the soft colour and focus are soothing and rhapsodic.

    Very well done Julie,
My type of image...:) I love the soft pastel, defused, delicate look. The depth of field is just right. Big congrats...keep them coming...

Now this one rocks! I love the silky look and fade to the outside feel. Nice thinking.
