    This is a photo from the last month, taken near Nikopol, Bulgaria.

    Only basic editing, like in-DPP sat at +1 and brightness adjustment +0,17, S/H in Photoshop and 200/0,5/2 unsharp mask.

    07:30 AM
    Canon Mark II N, Sigma 300-800 f/5.6 set at 800mm. Manual mode - 8 @ 1/800, iso 250.
    Fill flash with Canon Speedlite 580EX II (set at -2 2/3) + Better Beamer.

    I must confess to having looked this up to see if it was a type of beeater and it is.
    What remarkable colours, my only comment woul be to take some off the left and if at all possible clone out some of the long branch.

    beautiful image. nice details. true to its name - 'the bee-eater'.
    nice eye-contact & ideal head turn to display the bee :)

    Exquisite as presented, lovely warm light, great placement in the frame and sharp. I even like the little branch to the right to balance the compo :)

    Hi Nikolay,
    Well........no one can ague that the Sigma isn't sharp! Very nicely composed and like it as presented!
