WOW been a horrible couple of days not being able to see all these great thumbs larger! Really rough couple days for Blake and the other BPN folks, hang in there!

Rather an addictive form is it not?:) This is a linked image. I should be back to annoying everyone shortly.

Nonda's picture is stored on a external site - and just the link on here - thus you can see it.

Nice eye contact. Nice reflections in the eye as well - I might try and lighten it a little to bring out those reflestions.

    :) :)

    Nonda.
I'm a sucker for squirrels. I have always liked them. I really like the rich tones. The composotion is interesting it draws you in to see what is it they are looking at.The angle on how it is leaning in is great. I like the detail in the whiskers. My only nitpick would be to see the front ear just a tad more in focus.
Overall a cool image of one of God's great litlle creatures.

Yea we're back up! Thanks folks..This was sorta, I hoped, a bit of humor image for everyone. My Mac went into total melt down the 14th, I can't even imagine what Blake was going thought with BPN!!!! Anyway today I should be back to being able to actually work on images again. It has been said and said, but will say again..BACK-UP your data!!!! And like the MacGurus folks say "if it ain't automatic it ain't back-up". Yes I have external drives but was just counting on 'myself' to do the back-ups! Saved two months of images by the skin of my teeth I have put everything on hold till I could get all the back-up stuff and a few other things in place.

Chris, good to see another 'sucker for squirrels':-) Agree on the ear, cut the DOF a bit shallow for this close.

Three cheers for Blake and the BPN staff!!!!!

In your face !!!! This is Big Time Great Nonda !!!!!! High impact and great feel !!! Big Congrats !!!!

Sorry to hear about the meltdown Are you using Time Capsule? On my Mac I have a raid card and four 750 internal drives From there I go to external for redundancy. I'm considering running time Capsule.

I'm a big fan of squirrel photos...the little suckers are all over my deck and I love watching/photographing them. You nailed this one, Nonda! Beautiful DOF (depth of focus) and great BG (background) combine for a perfect portrait. You should have posted this in the wildlife section...might have won 'Image of the Week!'

Glad you like it Alfred..Haven't even looked at TC, going with a Burly 2 bay external and have 2 500G drives internal, for now..BROKE:( or at least my idea of broke a new Mac wasn't in the budget, will build from there. As extra will BU images only to a WD firewire.

Julie, cool another enjoyer of squirts:D
