Shouldn't be long !!!
I like the details of the wing. Not sure but it seems the bird is slightly angled off the plane of the sensor (first time I've ever written thing like this :o ). I also think the eye could be a tad sharper, too. Overall, I think it's a good image.
You can see the image Desmond?
Love the pose Amanda and the BG is just super! Agree with Desmond on the angle
no image there, for me.
Desmond's right...he's just a bit off the sensor plane going in the wrong direction but good golly it's a beautiful image! Next time, wait for the head turn if possible and don't change anything else...it's perfect!
All I can say is wow! It was worth the wait to see such a nice kingfisher photo. This is one of my 'nemesis' birds; can't ever seem to get close enough to get a good photo. Love everything about it. As Julie mentioned, a little head turn would be icing on the cake, and I would probably add a little canvas up top, but that's all. Congrats!

My nemesis also but still can't see it !!! You guys are killing me !!!!
Thanks so much for the feedback. I have a shot with the head turned towards me but I failed to get the wings sharp like this one. Guess I'll just have to try again :)
