I really love this, totally empty clean background, just enough light separating the bird from the dark background. Nice work.
Very sharp, with good DOF and exposure control. I would crop a little off the left and perhaps add some canvas up top. Also, I would even out the iris by lightening it and minimizing the shadow. Fill flash may have helped here. Thanks for posting!
