    Default Peregrine on the Cliffs

My last trip to Niagara Falls for a while. After a 12 hour session in the sun, Jim and I were baked :D

Shot with Canon MIII, 400 5.6 lens, manual exp at f7.1, 1/1600, ISO 250, on a bushhawk.

The cliffs were in the background providing that cool blue BG.

    Thanks for looking :)

I am no fan of square crops, and it is a personal thing, but the image itself is nothing short of superb. :) Thanks for sharing.

A perfect view of the wing and tail patterns. The darkish BG looks good. Although I'm also not a big fan of square crops I think it works relatively well here.

Great banking pose, eye contact and BG. I would go for a vertical or more horizontal crop but like it as is.

Bill, I would say this is the best shot I have seen from you and one of the best PF shots I have seen as well. Print this and hang it my friend:)

Gorgeous shot with great detail and background. I'd suggest brightening the overall image a tad.

This image could be used as a text book example of what a peregrine looks like. Wonderful detail, lighting, complimentary background and pose. Easily one of the best images I have seen here at BPN.
