    Get Down Lower ...

Often times, it is highly recommended to "get down lower" for a more intimate image. I decided to experiment with a different hummingbird look ... and laid flat on on my back (to radically get Down Lower):)!!

Photographed last week, hand-held the camera while pointed straight up at the feeder (hence the blue sky background, and strange catch light).

From this alternative position, the head angle is not the greatest, but I like how the Anna's gorget lit up with a gradient of different colors on both sides of the head.

Thank you for looking, and your suggestions are appreciated.

Beautiful shot, very low noise at ISO 1600. Like the sharp bird and wing blur, also the gorget colors.
