    Default Wigeon Pair

What a sweet pair these were. A high ISO image, I have used NR on the background.

Excellent intimate image. I would try to get them off center!

This is very nice, I like the mood in this one. It's very sweet that they touch each other. I agree that it is a bit too centered. I would have stopped down more for a wider DOF since the shutter speed is high enough.

Love the pair of widgeon together. With your shutter speed it looks as though you could have used a lower ISO. Even with the advances in high ISO IQ I always use the lowest ISO possible to capture the image. The ducks a little lower in the frane and giving then a bit more room overall might help...

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and critiques--it helps a lot! I like this image, but it seems to be a tougher one for me to get placed right on the canvas--so I will definitely try repositioning it per your sugestions. We don't have a lot of light here in the winter at times--I was after fliers when these two came bumping along and I did not change the settings--I will keep that more in mind when I am out there--it is a good reminder. I think I can set this camera with multiple settings, and just hit a button to quickly change to a lower iso. Thanks again!

Very nice interaction here, Bonnie. I would like more room to the right. I don't feel the reflection is doing much here, so I would also like to see the birds lower in the frame.
