Another capture from Long Key Rookery from last Saturday. This was taken about 9am on a very hot and bright day with a group from one of Fabiola's class.
Oscar! One of my most favorite of your bird images so far! I think it could use with a bit more sharpening - especially the feathers and head areas but this is really sweet. Nice colors, beautiful lighting, great BG. You are really starting to shine here!
Agree with the sharpening - I would selectivley sharpen the bird only. On my screen looks like you have some hotspots along the white feather area - if my screen is correct would try and tone it down a bit.
Nice shot Oscar. The BG is great. The Sigma does produce some very nice bokeh. It does appear that the focus was on the post which made the bird slightly soft. Good work.
Great look pose and setting !!! Would mask the white area around the breast, duplicate and multiply I think you can get some texture in the area btw sweet bg !!!
Love the BKGR and the pose. The perch leaves something to be desired.
