    This image of a young caribou calf was taken in late June at a remote camp near Cape Churchill, Manitoba a couple years ago. A herd moved by the camp and this calf was temporarily separated from its mother. 20D, 500 f/4, 1/1000, f/8, ISO 400. Comments are welcome.

    Very nice image here Interesting how the color of the calf matches the color of the tundra grasses. I might have like a lower shooting angle however. It would help with seperation from the BG..

    He's a cutie Steve. A nice simple image with a sharp subject and an interestingly textured BG. I might lighten up the shadow a bit.
