    What a cool looking bird!! Sometimes I don't mind a shallowish DOF with front facing birds (e.g. OOF tail) but I really wish you would have closed down the aperture more to get the grounded leg in focus. If you're inclined to you could work at smoothing out the OOF elements just above the head and neck. I like the flowing water and bubbles :-)

    Cool bird, pose and very nice setting and soft light. I might clone out the blades of grass (?) above the bird at the top and wish for a bit wider DOF. Thanks for sharing!

    Hi Ken,
    Nice color on this bird. The flowing water is a nice touch. I agree with Axel on removing the grass and might also selectively boost the contrast/sharpness on the eye.
