    Default Great egret

Had an hour to spare this evening, so a trip to a local park was in order. This is nothing out of the ordinary, just a summer scene. Thought about removing the feather at the tip of his bill from preening, but decided to leave it.

Thanks for looking and for your comments.

Really nice scene here... good details and nice background to get this subject isolated.

I like the feather on the tip and the room at the bottom for the feet.

I like the serene mood and composition. It could go a tad brighter for my taste.

If it was more discernable as a feather I would leave it, but as is I would get rid of it. Otherwise a nice basic image of the Great Egret :-)

pretty shot., I might tone down the whites a bit., but it could be my monitor.
