    Default Flower Abstract, how to.

I have been doing some impressionistic flower abstracts with the multiple exposure feature of some Nikon cameras. The I got thinking that we needed an alternative for those who did not have that capability.
I tried using Time value or Shutter Priority, call it what you may, and got a similar effect. Remember, the key to these images is to do many, since your control is relative, the more you create, the more chances of success you'll have.

In this cases, I used the 242-120 lens, hand held in the D3, set to S @ 1/3 of a second and slightly shook the camera/ You can improvise your movements, twist, shake vertical or horizontal short movements while the shutter is open. The idea is to get the effect of brush strokes. Color is a very important key in the equation. You wil need to use very low ISO to get low shutter speed.

Go out and try it, it is lots of fun!!!!!

The ONLY thing I don't love about this is the dirt spot in the bottom left corner. Clone that baby and I'll be drooling all over this one.:D
