    For a vulture the eyes are the easiest way into the skull of a dead animal and is therefore the first to be eaten. For more details on the event I refer to my image posted today in the Wildlife gallery.

    I decided to go in horribly close here to capture the gruesome details.

    **** discusting! Love the cruelty of this shot and the shape of the vultures neck, but if you wouldn't have mentioned it I wouldn't have known it was an eye socket, could be just me but I think that if you would have included the entire ear that it would have helped to set of the eye as part of the head IMHO. Apart from that minor nit, very very cool Vincent.
