I shot this with my Canon 40D, ISO 200, F/8.0, 1/320 sec, EF 24-105mm F/4.0L, 32mm, Pattern metering, Auto WB, Auto Exp. Then I thought I'd play around with it. I'd really like some other opinions.

    I like it Richard,
I like the feel to this one; it looks like a water color. Need to fix the water line, its a wee bit slanted to the left. other than that, very nice good show...

Nice! Really feels like a sketch.

To be honest, the first one looked straight enough to me too. :)

Don't feel bad, Richard; those things are always easier to see when they are in someone else's image!!!

I really like this. I think it could use maybe a tad more boost to the greens because the blues and golds are nice and strong but it's lovely as is. The composition and detail are very nice as well. Next time, don't be afraid...go ahead and drop your work in the OOTB forum. We're just as friendly down there! :D

Hi Richard Jules is right .... do post in the OOTB Forum We are friendly and at most will only get twenty lashes:D:cool:

I like the idea of balancing he saturation intensity for all the colors !!! You have come up with a nice blend Regarding the horizon is one difficult image to verify but would not worry about it It is one wild image !!!

Very original on your part Richard, do agree with Gus, feels like a water color painting.

Richard, amazing post-processing! I'm with Harold, could you give us some hints on how to do it? Please.
