    1D3 700mm 1/800 f8 ISO800

    One from Niagara. Handheld over the ledge. Composition was a bit difficult due a spike sticking out of the ledge, just left outside the frame.

    Great, great moment, it would've been great if the Hawk were facing the edge in stead of the rocks, but nothing you could do about that, so about what you could do, I think everything is just too perfect! Those feathers in the wind are such a plus, such a plus. Congrats!

    What a moment! nice action shot!
    To improve the overall image, you could clone out the feather that is closest to the tail and leave the 3 others in place. I also think that darkening the rocks will focus more attention to the bird.
