    Hi Karl,

    I like this one better. I guess I am a literalist! :) This one makes "sense" to me while the other one kept me in a state of constant tension. Like the detail. Like the background. I would like to see a bit more dof the bring the top of head into better focus.

    Hi Karl,

    Great comp and l really like all the details and you really get a sense that the mantis is looking over his shoulder at the camera and posing.

    Personally I dont mind the lack of focus on the back of the head, sorry Ed, the focus is exactly where it needs to be.

    I would run NR on the BG but that is a personal pref.
