    On my birding treks this winter I have noticed a significant unexplained decrease in the common Northern Cardinal in my local forest.Here is a portrait I took last winter when just about every bird you saw was a cardinal.
    Techs: Canon 20D , 500mm F4 IS ,1.4 T/C ISO 200 1/500 at f5.6 partial metering natural overcast lighting.Thanks for looking

    Very nice pose and details. The reds look a bit overexposed, you could try to desaturate only the reds a few points.

    A very fine image. The BG is a bit drab which prevents this image from having the WOW factor. I'm not entirely sold on the perch either ;)
