    Have just returned from an enjoyable trip to the Kalahari. Its winter time and the grasses are still long from the late summer rains ,but have taken on there winter golden hue colour. These Wildebeest are making there way to a nearby waterhole.

    D3 + 200-400 vr lens .
    iso 400 , 1/1000 @ f8
    matrix metering.

    basically full frame, minor PS work.

    I like the animal flow very much Would consider making it more of a pano Will help out the sense of motion and make the animals larger in frame !!! Excellent !!!!

    Wow thats a lot of grass compared to my last visit therLove the line of wildbebeest moving into this image. A bit to much FG for my taste but you have the horizon on the upper third line.. Wonder what it would look like with more sky less FG??

    If possible, I would have composed with the wildebeest at the bottom of the frame and more sky, though the sky looks unremarkable. If possible, I would have moved myself more to the right. A longer line of wildebeest would have helped.
