Great pose Ramon with good sharpness where it counts most. Eye contact is excellent. I'd like to see a little more shadow detail, and the bird feels a little tight in the frame for me. Thanks for posting!

Very nice close-up image. Good exposure and color.

I might try to lighten the back of the head a little more and give the bird a sharpening boost.

    Excellent shot. :)

Could also add you could work on the eye Will really pop !!!

Crop wise I would like to see it a little different The most interesting part is the open mouth... crop some from to bottom and go tight !!! Looking good Ramon !!!

Great expression and eye contact. Beautiful image. Sharp, good colors, you could try to dodge the back of the head and burn the orange a little.

Fantastic pose under a very nice light Ramon. The eye is terrific and the open beak a big bonus. Maybe is my computer screen but it seems to me that there is some kind of optical aberration caused by the 2XTC on the right lower corner of the frame.
Una apuesta arriesgada esa de meterse con el agua hasta el cuello para sacar una foto pero mereció la pena :-)

Well done with a great pose. You might try increasing the yellow SAT a bit. Love the sharp eye...

Ramon I think that composition on your repost is much better than the original. Excelent job!

The repost is a big improvement. I really like the eye and open bill.

    Hey Ramon,

This is sweet man.... Re-post works much better and the composition is very nice as well. I have to agree with Artie on this one, I would add more saturation.

This is very nice Ramon! Cormorants are another example of birds that are superficially dull to the eye but photography is able to bring out the incredible beauty in them. You have done this!

Although I really liked the original, the repost is an improvement. The eye really sings, but be careful not to over do it. Great action you caught and I love the colors

I like both, but would still like to see more yellow SAT.

Better, but not a huge difference. Have fun tomorrow.

Ok, I'll keep working on it, I just didn't want to over saturate it :)
