    I made the image of the singing Whimbrel (correct english name?) on Iceland.
    Do you think I should add some green canvas behind the bird and remove it from the right side?

    To answer your question, I would add just a hair of canvas behind the bird.

    Yep.....it's a Whimbrel.....and a fine looking one. Great to get him calling as well. The only time I see Whimbrels over here is at the shore's edge. I love seeing them on fence posts for something different. I might add a little room to the back as well but it's pretty nice as is. Well done.

    Great light, details, BG and open bill. I would put the bird a bit further to the right in the frame but not by much.

    Most interesting pose, excellent detail, exposure control and background. Agree that it needs to be further right in the frame.
