    From last Sunday at Lake Okeechobee.

    This image is a large crop, the best IMO of a three shot sequence.
    Image made around 10:00AM, golden light was already gone.

    Canon 40D, 500mm f4, 1.4TC, Tripod, Wimberly Head
    1/1600S, F6.3, ISO 250, 700mm, +1/3 Exp. comp.

    Lucky you, it's been a long time since I've seen one.
    Not too bad for the time, sharp face and nice wing blur.

    Hi Raul,
    Tough light to shoot in and there's a little evidence of the crop coming through but that's a great pose and look you captured.

    Hi Raul,

    Love the pose but you are loosing a lot of details in the wings and feet.

    Pose and eye contact are great but there seems to be a lack of details and it looks a bit too contrasty. Did you apply NR?

    What I wouldn't do to photograph one of these birds... I love thev pose and eye contact, although the light seems a bit too harsh. Congratulations still!

    The crop definitely hurts this image, which is a shame, because you got great wing position and eye contact. Thanks for posting!
