    Nice majestic bird.The chest looks a little hot on my monitor.I would have preferred a better angle as it is just too steep for my taste.

    Good-looking specimen. I agree that the angle is very steep. You could have tried to back up a bit. S/H might bring out more details in the shadows and the BG looks a bit noisy.

    Hawks can be very difficult to find at eye level. I don't know what the surroundings were like but if you could have backed up it would have lessened the appearance of the angle. You may also want to invest in a teleconverter. That way you can lessen the angle and still get some nice detail. This hawk is a pretty good looking guy......and he may frequent the same area so you might be on the lookout for him and try again.

    thank you very honest straight forward comments --and true -- I have a tc but this spot it is on a hill and way up to get a clean shot this is the angle --thank you again
