    Another Gray Squirrel from my backyard. I just had to try out an old 500 mm lens I haven't used for awhile. I don't use it much because it will only work in aperature prioriy at f8.0. This can be a problem because at close distances you don't have much depth of field to work with.
    Such is the case in the accompanying photo.

    Good composition, good sharpness on the face. Is the squirrel a bit overexposed from the ears back? It looks like it is oof which I think is okay, but the whiteness really pulls you eye away from the front of the image.

    I agree with the above, maybe darken the back of the neck a bit. If this is the result you get from I'd like to see more of it. Nice photo. I like the action involved.

    Agreew ith all the comments above - Made a few real quick changes
    Darkened the back a bit (not much time - quick and dirty job)
    also some eye pop.

    HI Chris Exposure is the main problem and also the little guy is in mixed light !!! Very difficult to come up with a good image with that type light !!!

    I like the eye contact and feel !!!
